My name is Derek Moore, and I am an ed techie. Yes, that means I am both an educator and a technologist.
I run a small consultancy called Weblearning.

My Hopes (and fears)

I hope the people who use technology in education see the need to have social presence (identity), want to become knowledge-able (cross boundaries) and recognise the imprtance of manging manage their time and their selves (agency).

I worry that some educators think that children should be conditioned or programmed by technology (behaviourism).
