KIFF stands for <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>K<\/strong>indness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>I<\/strong>ntentional use of Resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>F<\/strong>ediverse First<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>F<\/strong>ellowship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019d like you to agree to the KIFF code of conduct. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KIFF pedagogy embodies my values &amp; beliefs. These are the foundation for my work. The KIFF code of conduct applies to all spaces where Weblearning operates. Including classrooms, libraries, event spaces, the LMS or any other computer-mediated environment. People who do not adhere to the KIFF code of conduct may be sanctioned from these spaces at the discretion of Weblearning, the event organisers, or sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kindness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Great to have you here, I am pleased to offer you a warm welcome. My actions (and inaction) influences bigger systems in ways that I can&#8217;t see. My intent is to be <strong>kind<\/strong>, <em>respectful<\/em>, open to change. Take responsibility for my words and actions. Correct mistakes and minimize knock-on effects. I hope that you\u2019ll offer the same. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intentional use of OER<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I prefer not to start from scratch. I can stand on the shoulders of giants and <em>reciprocate<\/em>. If I can adapt, adopt, remix and reuse available, accessible and openly licensed education resources. These offer a basis for subsequent work. My hope is that you, to will be <strong>intentional<\/strong> in your OER choices and share and <em>reciprocate<\/em> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fediverse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I think that the decentralization of the web offers independent people like myself <em>representation<\/em> at the table. An open and independent infrastructure allows individuals the opportunity to plot our own course. If I have an option, I\u2019m choosing the <strong>fediverse<\/strong>, as opposed to big centralized tech companies or platforms. Because it offers me the independence to combine functionality that is <em>relevant<\/em> to the set of circumstances. I hope that you too will plot your own course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fellowship <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I sometimes see a heroic individual who can change the configuration of a digital learning experience. But more often, existing organisational structures determine what is pushed out, collected, received and returned. I\u2019m pleased to be in relationships with those who are not driven primarily by profit or scale but by intent. Those who are looking out for public good. I\u2019m hoping for a <strong><em>fellowship<\/em><\/strong> of open practioners who are committed to working within formal, non formal and informal learning environments.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you witness unacceptable behaviour, think that we are not keeping to the KIFF pedagogy or code of conduct or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting the organisers.
